Things I Love in Milan

Thing # 1: I love the fact that it's not so friendly. Maybe this can sound a bit strange, but this makes me feel at home when I'm abroad. Not because I find "abroad" unfriendly, but first of all, this makes quite easy to detect friendlier places and then, because - as I had a lot of difficulties to adapt to where I theoretically belong to and still, found Beauty in it - this process is always very present to my mind and makes it possible for me to understand that where I find difficulties, there's something to discover, there's something precious beyond them I can be able to appreciate and love.
