Writing like a ventriloquist
The New Year looks as the expected continuation of the Old One. I didn't even write a first page or some kind of thought on the passing of time and so forth. I'm not so good at it. The one thing that came to my mind is that I would like not to write like a ventriloquist speaks. In a certain sense, writing is a paradox, some kind of ventriloquism. You take some part of yourself as a puppet and let this puppet speak for you in front of the others in order to express in a more or less organized manner your particular viewpoint on a certain matter. You choose a style/voice, you try to be entertaining, you make a selection of your thoughts (interesting/not interesting/stupid/irrelevant) in order to create an effective text. Obviously, if you are a great writer, this works but if you're not, here you are: the ventriloquist with her/his stupid, scary puppet.

I love that concept of writing of ventriloquism... Here goes another thought: what if one day you become the ventriloquist of your writing?
It's too fucking late... or too early? That is very interesting, though, so I will definitely think about it hoping not to dream again the Japanese dancers with their colored silk bags speaking a very fast Japanese I can't understand. Is this dreaming like a ventriloquist? :P kiz
